Adam Lambert’s debut album isn’t due out until November 24th, but already the RS cover star is Number One on Amazon.com. Four days after the pre-order option was made available on Lambert’s still-untitled disc, or New Album 2009 as Amazon calls it, the American Idol runner-up is tops on Amazon’s Bestsellers list, ahead of new releases by Mariah Carey, Madonna, the Beatles and more. That’s pretty impressive, and a testament to Lambert’s fervent fanbase.

My chihuahua is named Chiquita too! And I occasionally wake up to the smell of Mr. Hanky as well! I was telling Candy Bar about HP’s horse feces tweet and we realized my dog’s ears go up when I say the word “feces”  – she gets all excited. I love chihuahuas. Haha.

This story is just crazy! It’s a blog post about one woman’s trip to the US and ultimate quest to meet HH. Which I’d totally be cool with, but she lied both to Allison’s mom and Security (multiple times!), gets escorted out of the press interviews AND the after show party (that she lied to get into), throws multiple tantrums in public (she’s 35 with 3 kids) at one point sitting on the ground by the trash cans, alters the after show pass so she can use it at a different show (sadly, that works),  and then has the balls to post this for all to see. And the commenters all seem ok with this! They call it cute and inspiring.

One highlight:

(Note: she includes a note to the haters that she added dramatic embellishment, but somehow I don’t think getting physically escorted out is dramatic embellishment)

And for anyone who thinks I’m hating – in a way, I am. I think it’s rude to suck up and lie to Allison’s mom, rude to use Allison’s mom name when you are in the middle of getting thrown out, shameless to cry like a baby for passes (you are a grown woman!), and ungrateful to complain when you got press passes because HH wasn’t there. You got to interview 6 idols – there’s probably people who would have loved to have been able to interview . As someone who runs a legitimate blog and couldn’t get press passes (before I knew I had legitimate aftershow passes), it’s annoying that you got them just so you could try and meet HH (who wasn’t even at the press thing). People like this are the reason security is so tight and why access gets limited. This is why we can’t have nice things.
