My gorgeous Farah recorded this off her TV in Malaysia and it’s hilarious. Looks like the boys are featured artists on MTV Asia and they talk about each other! The peeps who booked David Cook and David Archuleta in Manila last year, are announcing via twitter, that Kris Allen will be performing two dates in the Philippines in February.

According to the Music Management Intl. twitter, Kris Allen and the dance group Jabbawockeez will perform in Cebu on February 5, 2010 and McKinley Hill Concert Grounds in Manila on February 6.

MAMA LAMBERT TALKS TO WOMEN’S DAY ABOUT HER BABY BOY:

What was Adam like as a little boy?
He was very precocious. I took him to a lot of plays and concerts when he was small, and he always found a deeper meaning in them while I always took things literally. One time we went to see Les Miserables when Adam was 8. Afterward, he went into this elaborate discussion about how things were staged. He was so inquisitive, always asking questions. When he was about 5 years old he asked, “If God is in the sky, how does he see through the roof?” I had to tell him, “I’ll get back to you on that.”

(PSSST.BECAUSE ADAM, GOD HAS LASER BEAMS FOR EYES. THAT’S HOW HE GETS TO SPY ON ALL THE NAKED LADIES.)

What was your reaction the first time you realized Adam had such an incredible voice? I remember he was in a children’s production of Fiddler on the Roof when he was about 10 years old. I’d never watched the rehearsals. So during the show when he got on top of a table and let out this note, I just looked at his dad and said, “Where’d that come from?”

What was your favorite American Idol performance by Adam?
I loved when he performed “Satisfaction.” And “Black or White.” And “One.” I can’t pick a favorite!

What do you think of Adam’s For Your Entertainment album cover?
It’s not my favorite. I don’t tend to go outside the box, but Adam is a free spirit. He was just being himself. He liked it and thought it was fun. It’s an expression of his creativity.

Did all the media speculation about Adam’s sexuality (before he confirmed that he is gay) bother you?
It didn’t bother me at all because it’s who Adam is. He didn’t want his being gay to be the focus. He wanted to address it when the time was right.

What’s your hope for your son?
To be surrounded by people who love him. That’s what I want for him more than anything—to enjoy life and be surrounded by love.

Victor Balta (fancast.com) talks to Ryan Seacrest and Larry Klein, the executive producer of ABC’s New Year’s Eve bash and the AMAs (the high-strung, curly-haired guy Candy posted videos of a few weeks back, LOL) about the recent controversy and the new season of Idol (among other things). Is it just me, or does Seacrest seem to be hedging on his replies? What happened to standing up for the guy that you once raved about and who brought you significant ratings?

Here is an excerpt from the interview:

Ryan, you literally stood next to Adam Lambert throughout his rise this year. What was your take on the “American Music Awards” thing and the fallout since?

RS: Well, the AMAs aren’t my show, so it’s probably a better question for Larry. He produced the AMAs. So it didn’t have anything to to with me. But I’ll tell you the one thing I did with Adam, which I think was simultaneously, was on my radio program we had a concert booked for Adam, Kris and Allison to the most pop city, based on votes to our web site. So while all of that (AMAs controversy) was happening and things were going on in the news and headlines, we’d already done a deal with him to put him on a stage somewhere in America, which we’ve just decided to do. So I’ve been working with him, but the AMAs were Larry’s show.

Larry?

LK: Well, yeah, we had Adam on the show and he did what he did, and we did rehearsals and what we did in rehearsals was not what was on the show that night. But it is what it is. He got caught up in the moment and went for it, and it was a big finale, so, I don’t know. It was his performance.

I’m not sure if it was confirmed that he would be on the New Year’s show or not, but…

LK: Well, no. We’d talked about it, and we were talking about it, but at that time, when I’m in middle of the AMAs, my head is in AMA mode. But, yeah, we were talking about it as one of the possibilities, but, other than that, no (he wasn’t confirmed). There’s no ill feelings, there’s no anything. I saw him a couple of weeks ago, we laughed, we joked. It is what it is.

Dick Clark always told me, years ago, the stage is for performance. Dick always said, I really don’t care what people do on stage, I care what they do off stage. Adam is a terrificly nice guy off stage, and that night he got caught up in his first big performance, and he went for it.

Ryan, I can’t have you on the line without asking a couple of ‘Idol’ questions. What do you expect of the new dynamic on the judging panel and how the chemistry might change with Ellen in place?

RS: I’ve been thinking about it, I’m not quite sure where I end up in thinking about the dynamic. I think that for a live television show, it’s a pretty fantastic pairing to have Ellen and Simon next to each other, or close to each other, on that panel, because she is obviously one of the smartest, quick-witted people on television, and she watches the show, so she knows all about it. And he is very, very clever and smart, too. So I think it’s going to be a lot of sparks, a lot of fun. I’ll probably kick back and watch the two of them go at each other. She’s been very candid with me off the air about how she appreciates what Simon does, and how he does it, and why he does it, but she does not agree with how he treats the contestants. So, I have a feeling those two will go at it a little bit, which will be fun for us.

It totally sucks that now his name is being dragged into this over Kymm’s fucked up actions.
